Adding a rich card action

This topic explains the steps to add a rich card action to an interaction. In this action, you can add a card, add one or more carousels, and include media files along with configuring the orientation and height of the card.


  1. In the left navigation page, click Bots to open the Bots page.
  2. Click the interaction to which you want to add the action.
    The interaction panel expands displaying all actions that you can add.

  3. Click the Rich Card icon to add the rich card action.
    The rich card action panel opens.

    Note: Hold the mouse pointer on the icon on each field to view the specific information about the field.
  • Card  
  1. In the Title field, enter the card title for the users.
  2. In the Message field, enter the message for the users.
  3. To add the attachments, click the Media file and select the media files (audio/video) from the system.
  4. Click Ok.
  5. Select the Force Refresh check box to enable force refreshing of the card.
  6. Add button to the rich card.
  7. Add a quick reply to the rich card.
  • Carousel
  1. In the Title field, enter the card title for the users.
  2. In the next Title field, enter the title for an individual bubble.
  3. To add the attachments, click on the Media file and select the media files (audio/video) from the system.
  4. Click the Media Height drop-down list and select the height of the media that you have added.
  5. Select the Force Refresh check box to enable force refreshing of the card.
  6. Add button to the rich card.
  7. Add a quick reply to the rich card.
  8. Click the Media Height drop-down list and select the height of the media that you have added.
  9. Click the Card Width drop-down list and select the width of the card.
  10. (Optional) Click the plus icon to add more carousels to the card.

    Note: The plus icon is enabled only when you add the card title in the Title field.
